According to source, Lindsay Lohan could be facing up to three years in jail after being charged with necklace theft after appearing in court on Wednesday February 9 2011. Although Lindsay Lohan denies stealing the necklace from the Store on January 22, she blames her stylist for returning the jewelry late and claims she should not be blamed for the late return.
"The owner reported the theft to the Los Angeles Police Department, which investigated the allegation and presented evidence to the D.A.'s office last week," said Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers.
"If convicted, Lohan could face up to three years in state prison," added a statement by the district attorney's office, ahead of her formal arraignment in court later Wednesday.
